World Hindi Day (Vishwa Hindi Divas) celebrations on 

 Friday, January 18, 2019.

You must be aware that the first ‘World Hindi Day’ was celebrated on 10 January, 1975  in the city of Nagpur (India). Following this, 10 January has been declared as World Hindi Day by the Government of India to spread the greatness of the language at global level.        

The Consulate would be organizing ‘World Hindi Day – 2019’ event on Friday, the 18th January, 2019 from 6:30 PM onwards at Indian Social Society, Kobe (address 1-3, Kumochi 5-chome, Chuo-ku, Kobe 651-0056). Students from Osaka University and children from the Indian Community would be presenting essays, poems, songs in Hindi etc.

All Indian Nationals and Friends of India are cordially invited to be part of the event to encourage the use of Hindi language. To attend, please register with us in advance.
